Often the greatest attribute a Real Estate Agent can possess is personal experience, something that Rachel Dreyer has plenty of. Having relocated several times throughout the country, she has in-depth knowledge and perspective of the buying and selling process. It is this experience that she brings to her clients, in order to walk them through both the emotional and financial impacts of their decision-making.
The nature of Real Estate is unique in that it is both a financial and very personal process for clients. Before becoming a Realtor, Rachel worked in fields which encompassed both aspects. She honed her business and negotiation skills as an insurance broker dealing in specialty insurance, as well as working in high end retail for Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus. In a different vein, she worked with developmentally disabled adults and taught therapeutic horseback riding. Patience, empathy and the anticipation of client needs are skills that all of these fields required, which Rachel has carried effortlessly into her Real Estate career.
At the end of the day Rachel’s passion is simple; she loves working with people and takes great pride and satisfaction in providing hands-on service to her clients. Rachel attended New England College in Henniker, New Hampshire, but had made her decision to become a California resident many years before, on a family trip to San Francisco. As a mother of two boys she regularly volunteers at her kids’ schools, and also as the SVST swim team director along with her husband, both very involved in their Lafayette community. When she is not working or volunteering, Rachel is cooking, doing Crossfit and the Daily Method, or hiking with her dog and family.
