Anastasia Stephanopoulos, first cousin to George Stephanopoulos, former Senior Policy Advisor to President Bill Clinton and presently anchor of Good Morning America, has been selling real estate since 1999.
Prior to becoming a licensed realtor Anastasia went to law school and after passing the California Bar she worked as a Deputy District Attorney in Solano County. After giving birth to her third child she decided to leave the legal profession and get her real estate license so she could have more flexibility in raising her family.
In the past years she has belonged to the San Francisco Board of Realtors and has sold property as far north as Santa Rosa, Napa, San Francisco & Fairfield. Approximately 70% of Anastasia's real estate business is seller representation. While she very much enjoys marketing a home for sale she conversely enjoys helping buyer's in the process of finding their dream home.
Since the downturn in the economy Anastasia has helped many people sell their distressed properties. She has recently been certified as a HAFA (Home Affordable Foreclosure Alternative) expert. She was also featured in the January 2011 edition of Realtor Magazine as their "Success Story". The article explains how she assisted her sellers in the completion of a complicated short sale.
Her competence and integrity is what makes her well respected within the real estate community.
